Artificial intelligence, psychology, theology, ethics, and law, the APTEL Research project, focuses on how people interact with AI in contexts that evoke moral, spiritual, and emotional responses via 3 modalities of chatbots, VR, humanoid robots.
The APTEL research already touches several cutting-edge questions — but the research gap lies precisely in the integration of these fields.
→ The Gap: There is no unified empirical framework examining how humans psychologically and spiritually respond to AI agents — and what this means for moral authority, legal responsibility, and the preservation of human dignity.
